Trends and styles as well as classical dance styles will be in the spotlight on March 30, 2019 at the festival "In the Sign of the Orient".

On March 30, the dance network Up To Dance invites to the intercultural dance festival 'In the sign of the Orient' in the stylish industrial ambience of the Flottmann-Hallen in Herne.

With three shows, a glittering bazaar in the foyer and six exciting dance workshops for beginners and advanced dancers, there are impressions for all the senses. On the flying show rug, the spectators experience a colorful dance spectacle: fabric dreams are woven into the air, flaming Spanish fire meets beguiling exotic Indian dance, dynamic drum solos combine with dapper Egyptian dances, and desert saber dances, tribal style and oriental tango are complementary to see the classical oriental dances. There is certainly something for everyone among the many pieces.

In addition to their dancing show talent, the actors spray their passion for movement in creative workshops and pass on their in-depth knowledge. For the workshops of the festival beginner and advanced are welcome.

Visitors will also get a (free) look at the bazaar. There is a colorful variety offered to the body and mind alike. With charming decoration, culinary delicacies and a unique feel-good ambience, the bazaar opens at 2 pm and offers so many interesting things.
